Highlights of the band\u2019s career include regular sold-out theatre tours including a memorable five nights at London\u2019s legendary Hammersmith Odeon performed during 1988 together with headlining Birmingham NEC and Wembley Arena, as well as appearances at major festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kingdom of Madness featuring Mark Stanway (keyboards), Micky Barker (drums), Richard Bailey (keyboards\/flute\/guitar), and Mo Birch (vocals\/percussion), all of whom have previously performed with Magnum, together with bassist Brian Badhams (Bernie Marsden, Climax Blues Band), vocalist Chris Dando and guitarist Alan Bell perform classic tracks from the celebrated 1978-94 era of Magnum.<br><br>\u201cThere was an extensive catalogue of great songs from the classic years of Magnum which have not been performed on stage in many years and which audiences have been screaming out for\u201d says Mark Stanway, keyboard player with Magnum for 36 years.<br><br>Micky Barker and Richard Bailey, both members of Magnum\u2019s classic-era line-ups, didn\u2019t take much persuading to get involved: \u201cThis decision was easy,\u201d says Bailey. \u201cIt was obvious the fans would welcome the chance to hear some of their favourite classic Magnum songs and we all have the essential mutual respect for each other\u2019s musical ability.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barker adds: \u201cBlowing the dust off some of the old CD\u2019s and DVD\u2019s from my time with Magnum, the idea of playing some of Tony Clarkin\u2019s finest songs again became increasingly appealing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This union of former members of one the UK\u2019s best-loved bands plus other top-drawer classic rock alumni to perform music that has touched the hearts of several generations of music fans has been met with high acclaim from both music critics and audiences alike:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPure and simple, this was a triumph for all concerned,\u201d wrote Andy Rawll at Metal Talk. \u201cThis was no pale imitation of an inimitable band.
